Recommendation for Wine Shop in Anguilla
I would appreciate any recommendations for good wine shops in Anguilla. We are travelling there on our honeymoon and would like to purchase a case or so of champagne to enjoin over the course of our vacation.
How do their prices compare with prices in NYC? What's the selection like?

Hi. Just got back from Anguilla last night. We did absolutely no shopping, but I did notice a wine store called Vinissimo. It looked like an upscale, nice store, but beyond that I can't help you.
You won't find a whole lot of stores on the island, so this may be your best and only bet.

There is a very nice wine store on the island (can't remember the name) but be advised that wine prices are expensive. Everything we bought was much more than we pay in Boston. If you bring it in from St. Martin, where wine prices are indeed less than you pay in the States, you will have to pay duty on it to get it into Anguilla. But that still might be cheaper than buying it in Anguilla.
