there are many great places in negril, if you want something like tensing pen you could look at catcha falling star. i would say look at negril one stop vacations. their web site has a very good map of all the resorts in negril. also look at negril.com, there is a very good message board with really good info. also try going after april 15th, the rates are better and the weather is still very nice. another idea is to split your vacation between the beach and the cliffs. good luck.

White Sands is a great lowere mid budget option. It is smack dab in the middle of the best part of the beach and is a nice low key place to stay. Obviously the poster suggesting Couples Negril didn't catch the part about your budget!

hey spook.... don't forget about white sands daily 2for1 drink specials!!!! that is in my opinion the best area on the beach, white sands, charela, idle awhile, coco lapalm would all be good places for parkersunshine to stay.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. Do people typically book through the resort for Negrill hotels or use vacation type websites?

I'm staying at Tensing Pen this coming summer with a large group of friends. We are all booking directly with the hotel.
