recommenced resorts

Need honest opions of the Avalon and the Coralstone Club for July 2002. What are beach and rooms like? There will be five in my party. Thanks.

We've stayed at both, but definitely the Avalon is our favorite. Slightly newer and slightly bigger than the Coralstone, a perfect empty beach, garages if you have a rental car. The prices aren't much different so go for the Avalon!

Anyone know which building at Coralstone Club is closer to the construction? They call them 'north or south'. Thanks.

Could someone please tell which island is being talked about here? Thanks.

On Grand Cayman, the north building would be the closest to the Ritz construction.

I've stayed at both, and I think that the Avalon is the nicest. The Avalon doesn't have any constuction going on next to it like the Coralstone. At both places each is indiviually owned. Both of the condos were around 1800sq. ft., had two beachfront balancies and were decorated beachy. The living room had wicker furniture and the walls were painted yellow in one unit , blue in the other. In one unit we had granite counter tops, but that was something extra the owner put in. In both units we had a king bed and t.v. in the master bedroom. You could see the ocean from your room. Some of the bathroom wallpaper was bright and busy, but the bathrooms were big. The beach at the Avalon is very nice and private. It is right next to the Great House where Tom Cruise filmed his movie the Firm. At the Avalon, one of the guest rooms had a king bed. You also get a gargage.
