REAL temperatures in T& C
February is our favorite time to go to the Caribbean. On our way to Palm Island two weeks ago, we met a man who lives in North Caicos and he claims the temperatures there in February are anywhere from 75 - 85 degrees. He also said the water there is warm and great for swimming. I was always under the impression that it is in the low to mid 60's. Wondering what those who have visited Caicos say about that? Thank you!

I have been every month of the year, and NEVER had it below 65, so low 60s are just a thought. Even then, it only did that for 2 nights, and daytimes were 78-80.
Compared to Palm Island, it probably fluctuates only 4-5 degrees from there.
Currently you can get the real temperature from www.WhereWhenHow.com
The last week have been low 80s.

Go to www.wunderground.com - use the Travel & Activities drop down menu to select Trip planner - enter the airport code for Provo (PLS) and your planned dates of travel - you'll be directed to all sorts f weather data including a chart that will show you what the actual temperatures were for everyday during that period over the last 10 years. If that data overwhelms you go to www.weatherbase.com and click Caribbean then Turks & Caicos - you'll find monthly averages listed there.

Thank you! I've seen some beautiful pictures of what looks to be clear water and I've always wanted to go but thought it would be like the Bahama's in February which I found to be too cold. This opens up an entirely new thought for us! Thanks again!

air temps are usually good. it's the sea temp that differs. for example right now bahamas sea temp around 75, provo around 78, aruba 81. this is all fine for swimming but if you want to spend lots of time snorkeling provo might be a bit cool. to be clear NOT too cool to snorkel, but could feel too cool to stay in the water for hours on end (which is what i like to do)

I was there last week. Everyday was upper 70's low 80's. It was stormy most of the time we were there too.
Water was decent, just a tad chilly for the first minute you were in. I snorkeled for a couple hours at a time & was not chilled a bit
