rainy daze in november...
hi. we will be visiting t@c next november. i have read that november can be a rainy month there. has anyone actually visited in november? can you tell me if it rained similar to a true tropical island, like for an hour or so, or did it rain for a full day? (or more?) help!!! i do not want to be stuck in a hotel room with my hubby and three little boys, yikes! also, we are torn between ocean club west and coral gardens. any ideas? thanks everyone!

We were there last November and only saw two quick rain showers the whole week we were there. The first time it rained we were walking down the beach to snorkel in front of Coral Gardens and it was raining on us and the sun was shining on us at the same time. This resulted in a double rainbow over Grace Bay. Later in the week it rained a little bit one afternoon. The rest of the week the weather was perfect!

thanks so much for the info! how was your the snorkeling at coral gardens? i have heard mixed reviews. is it good enough to actually stay at coral gardens? thanks again!

The snorkeling at CG is not quite as good as it once was. The reef has been over used and abused. They bring people in by boat to snorkel there and all the folks come from all over the island and they have no respect for, or any idea how to treat coral.

Most of the reef was roped off, so we couldn't get directly over it. We swam around the outside of the rope and did see lots of different fish.
