Radisson Cable Beach or Breezes?

My sister and I 25 and 33 are considering the Bahamas for a 3 or 4 night vacation. Thought about Vegas, South Beach,... travel agent suggested Nassau - Radisson Cable Beach and Breezes. Also mentioned "The Water Club" in San Quan, the old "Colonial?" The Water Club priced at $829 and Breezes $823 Radisson $880, which the last two are AI. Any suggestion? We are both teachers and looking to just get away where there aren't a lot of children. Any suggestions would be so helpful! Thanks!

I think the Bahamas would be a nice change for you. You might consider Breezes, I don't think they allow kids under 16.

You also might check some of the travel agency online package deals like www.libertytravel.com They have really good deals to the carribean.

The Raddison is very nice right on cable beach and lots of activity and restaurants in the area. It is a bit more upscale.

Also check out Compas Point which is also very cute and away from the crowds and right on the beach. Great food there also.

IF you want to be downtown Nassau, so you don't have to travel much to see everything, you might try the British Colonial which has a private beach, nice pool area and is close to everything.

Have a great time.

We stayed at the radisson cable beach last may, 2001 and it was wonderful. I went with another friend, we are both single and didn't find a lot of kids running around, and besides they have a camp for them during the day. Pools and beach were awesome.Do the all inclusive. Met some wonderful people. Food was great and lively entertainment in the lobby bar and upstairs bar. Also 1 min. walk to casino. Would go back in a heartbeat.
