Radisson Cable Beach Golf & Casino Resort

My partner and I are very excited because we fly to the Bahamas in 2 weeks.Radisson on cable beach)
I would like to know any feed back on this resort, and which countries most of the tourists are from, as we are british and with all our past carribean holidays most of the tourists have been American and Canadian. This is good because it makes us feel more like we are holiday.

Any advice is greatly appreciated
The Raddison Cable Beach is beautiful, the grounds are carfully cared for and the beach is wonderful. The food at the Raddison is good and you will have several choices.

When you register ask for a room with a view of the ocean.

Most of the guests are American and Canadian, but you will get a smattering from all over the world. Nassau is becoming a major tourist destination.

There are alot of choices of things to do and see, and in your room and at the consierge desk will be all kinds of brochures and discount shopping coupons.

For a very special dinner out, go to Greycliff's the only 5 star restaurant in the carribean, and the service and food are superb, a bit pricy but worth it.

Have a WONDERFUL TRIP, and if I can be of any more help, please let me know.

tweedy
Tweedy,
You've mentioned that I should ask for a room with an Ocean view when checking in. Does this mean that some of the rooms face away from the ocean, or is it just that the lower floors do not have clear view. In the literature I've seen so far, the impression I got was that all rooms were ocean facing.

Iain

Ian, the hotel is on the beach, but the othere side of the hotel faces the causway and gardens, ask for a room with a view of the ocean, it is beautiful from some of the higher floors.

Let me know if I can be of any more help.

we stayed there 2 years ago, and our overall impression was lukewarm. the facilities, rooms and beach were good, but some of the service in the restaurants was verrrrryyyyy slow. as for the golf, it was "free", included in the all-inclusive rate, but what this meant was that there was no green fee. there was a mandatory cart fee of something like $30-35 per person. the course itself was OK, but pace of play a little slow as well. but for those rates, who's complaining?
