R.C. NORDIC EMPRESS - share experiences?

My husband and I went on the three night cruise
on Christmas this past year and had a great time.
(Even though he had a broken arm.) The staff
is great. They called me Princess Lynn and waited
on us hand & foot. We loved it so much that we
booked another cruise as soon as we got home.
We are sailing on the Sovereign of the Seas on
May 31st. I can't wait. Have you been on the
Nordic Empress?

Thanks so much for your response. No, this is the first time on a cruise, and I have SO many questions and concerns. How dressy do people get for formal night? How friendly are the passengers, or do people mainly stay to themselves? Any and all information would be appreciated.

Cruising is definately the way to travel you'll love it.
My husband and I were married on a cruise ship.
As for your questions, for the formal nights people usually dress up quite a bit . Men, suit and tie women, fancy cocktail dress, kind of like a New Years eve party.
If you want to socialize with other people you'll have no problem doing so.If being alone is your thing thats fine to.Unless you've booked a table for 2 you'll probably be sitting at a table for 6 or 8.We had a wonderful time with everyone at our table and socialized with them throughout the cruise.We have a 10 day cruise booked for this christmas and can't wait its the ultimate vacation.

My family started our cruising with the Nordic Empress onthe advice of my parents and brothers who had cruised RCCL before. That trip made us life long converts to cruising. #3 is on Nov. 29th of this year on the Enchantment of the Seas and we cant wait!!!!
