quiet place to stay

Does anyone know of a quiet place (no live music, no disco, no TV or other noise, especially at night) for two to stay, preferably with kitchenette? And we like to play tennis and have good swimming virtually at our doorstep. And not pay over $200/night Dec. 20-30.

You really want quiet? Here's my favorite quiet place:

It's at the north end of Tobago. No McDonalds, no supermarkets, etc. The hotel occasionally brings in a local steel band group at night.

Four words. Cottage Club on Saba.

So quiet you can hear a pin drop at virtually any time of the day or night. Beautiful views, full cottage with kitchen, convenient to town for when you wish to do some strolling. You can read a novel in one day, beginning to end, while enjoying the views from the patio.

I don't know if there is tennis on the island, but there is a nice, quiet, cliffside swimming pool at The Cottage Club, and I rarely see another guest there. No beaches on Saba, though, if that is what you are looking for in swimming.

My DH and I stay here every year for a long weekend just for the pure relaxation and quiet.

I would suggest Cape Santa Marie on Long Island (the bahama out islands). It really appeals to me because the beaches look gorgeous and its very quiet. I been to the Abacos so I know firsthand that the beaches in the out island are to die for. The only concern is that the water temps may be lower in Dec. If your dates are flexible it may work. Another suggestion would be Jost Van Dyke in the BVI. Check out sandcastle on white bay beach. The accomodations look a bit more rustic. Have fun researching.
