Questions about what to bring

Hi,
I would like to know if I need to bring my passport when travelling from New York City.
Or is the driver's license enough?
Thanks.

you don't go through customs so picture govt. id like a driver's license should be ebouhg - however, jsut to be sure, call the airline and confimr with them what you need to fly to PR.

jsut checked the us state dept site and no passport is currently required for pr.
however if you have one i would absolutely take it with. you never know what could happen.

All that is rtequired are the photo ids needed to get on the airplane going and returning. You are not required to show anything when you arrive in PR. .

It is mind boggleing to me that since 9/11 our country had NOT required passports for ALL flights internal and external. With all the motor vehicle scams going on (here in CT we have had a couple of phony lic. rings broken up) passports would provide another element of identification.

TG
Your State is not alone is this criminal act. I live in NJ, and less than a month ago the FBI, Secret Service And NJ State police ensnarled over 23 thats correct 23 motor vehicle employees doing just that. Imagine trading safety for greed...and losing a set for life job...stupidity run rampent in the Garden State.
