Question about paved roads on Providenciales, Turks and Caicos

I am wondering if anyone knows about the paved road system in Provo.

I am considring staying at the Aquamarine Beach House. Is the road leading to it well paved? I sustained a spinal cord injury half a year ago and am recovering. I need to avoid bumpy rides. Would the ride to Tradewinds Condotel be smoother ?

Also, is there paved road access to Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay? How about Flamingo Lake?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

The road leading to Aquamarine Beach House is well paved. Here's a photo of the road approaching ABH coming from Grace Bay (green house is part of ABH)

The only bumpy part is the driveway, which is not paved. It is a relatively short driveway though.

if you look at mymoosie's first picture you'll see the same road you can see in the main photo on: http://www.aquamarinebeachhouses.com/index.htm
in above (web site) photo you can see that the yellow house is the furthest from the road. mymoosie's second photo appears to be taken from approx 1/2 way down the driveway, looking towards the yellow house.
web site photo shows all but the turn off the road into the houses. the driveway is not more than a football field long. i'm sure if driven slowly it will be not problem.

the road (south dock road) to chalk sound, taylor & sopadilla is paved nicely now. you turn right onto chalk sound road to access taylor and sopadilla. i don't recall this being paved, but it's been a couple years and may be paved now - hopefully blamona will see your post and confirm this.
sopadilla is approx 1/4? mile. there is a very short sand road to access the beach on the left - you can see the beach from the road. you could easily walk in if you see too many pot holes. other road is just after turn onto chalk sound road but is faily long and if not paved is probably not in good repair.
taylor is about another 1/4 mile down chalk sound road. turn left into ocean point villas. park just before the stone pillars on sides of road. you'll see a old sand road on your right, now blocked by boulders. walk down to the beach on that road.

do not try to drive out to malcolm road beach!
be sure you pick very calm days to take excursions as the waves will jar your back too.

you'll find a decent map of the island on the FAQ page from houses web site.

Thank you so much, mymoosie. Wow you must have a million pics in your own travel photo library to be able to pull out ones showing both the road leading to the resort, and also its own driveway!

Thanks for the details, virginia. I think I can follow your instructions and venture out to Sapodilla Bay . I can easily walk 1/2 mile.

The Chalk Sound Road has been paved for several years and as of last week now has street signs. You should have no trouble navigating your way to Sapodilla Bay.
