Question about Couples Resorts
Hi Everyone,

We are planning some vacation time soon and wanted to know what kind of experiences people had at Couples Resorts in Jamaica.

We are very active - love the water and need some R&R. Thinking about Swept Away.

Any comments?

Jennifer,
My husband and I just returned from Couples Ocho Rios a few weeks ago. We had a wonderful time there! My husband enjoyed diving there and we never ran out of things to do. We played golf, went horseback riding, sailing, snorkeling, catamaran cruising, among many other things. We went with four other couples, and everyone had a great time.
The majority of the staff was wonderful, the food and drinks were awesome. There is renovation going on there now. My brother and his wife got a newer room and it was nicer than the rest of those in the group. Therefore, I would request a room that has been redone.

If you want specifics, let me know. We all decided that for the cost of the trip, we definitely got our money's worth.

Happy Vacationing! Amy

We have stayed at Swept Away 5 times over the last ten years and love it (most recent was March 2002). Nothing beats Negril and its beach; food and drinks are plentiful and good.

The rooms are very nice and romantic. The Atrium rooms are larger and have a good size lanai/balcony. The garden rooms are closer to the street (which could be a little noisy). However there are no TVs (a fact which we love, but some people aren't comfortable with).

If you are active healthy people who want a romantic get-away, I couldn't recommend Swept Away more.
