Punta Cana - What's there to do & see???

Hi! A friend and I are planning a one week vacation to Punta Cana during the first week in October. We're gonna be doing an All Inclusive vacation, but would also want to go on a City Tour. Any suggestions?? If you can even refer me to a good website with all the info that would be great.

Thanks!

Would recommend you NOT take the city tour...you are on the bus most of the time... and really don't get to see that much sadly enough. also, second you check out Debbies...

Thanks for your info! I'm looking forward to getting more suggestions. Would also like to hear some reviews on the following resorts from those who have stayed there.

1) Caribe Club Princess
2) Sirenis Coctal
3) Sirenis Tropical
4) Gran Flamenco
5) Grand Paradis Bavaro

Thanks again!

Didn't stay at any of resorts on your list but seen them all. I can tell you that Grand Flamenco has the best beachfront , Grand Paradis Bavaro is also very nice ,Caribb Club has very rough water , and Serenis is the last resort on the North end of PC ,too far from airport plus the beach is not that nice ,eroded and also very rough. You can read reviews on debbiesdominican.com

No matter what resort you choose I am sure they will offer a trip to DR. It is a long ride, but the tour is informative. Includes lunch shopping and history. It leaves around 7 or 8 a.m. and doesn't return till 11p.m. Long day. We like to explore and we found it worth it.
