Punta Cana Resort ?'s

Trying to decide between Iberostar Punta Cana, Melia Caribe Tropical and the Paradisus Resorts. All seem pretty much evenly rated, what are your opinions and why. Adult couple without kids. Not too interested in nightlife, but great pool, beach and room. Do any of these resorts offer a better quality of food? Other likes - dislikes.

I can tell you that the Iberostar Punta Cana is a great choice but I haven't stayed at the other two. I suggest you go to this website and read the resort reviews for each resort:
www.debbiesdominicantravel.com
I can guarantee you will get LOADS of information from that website...including a message board if you still have questions.

I am trying to decide between the Melia Tropical and the Paradisus. They seem fairly similar and both have golf which is good.

Anyone else have any opinions?

My hubby and I stayed at Melia Tropicale a couple of years ago and thought it was great...the food was above average...beach was beautfiul...pool nice...staff..etc...all great...the only thing that detracted was it is a timeshare property and the timeshare guys are parked at the lobby all day and they sort of harrass you. Otherwise...great place.

Thanks for your response Greenie,

I know what you mean about the time share sharks! We stayed at the Adventura Palace in the Mayan Riviera last year.... absolutely beautiful resort but the timeshare people are relentless. A few good glares kept them away!
