Puerto Rico ,Jan 6 3Kings day {christmas

Will be in town on Jan 6 Puerto Rican Christmas and wanted to know if there is a place we could visit and see the lights or something special that happens that day in Puerto Rico.I figure that driving around should be easy since everyone will be home attending to family. Maybe visit in Condado ?? thanks

i would go to Old San Juan. The lights will be beautiful and chances are there will be cultural events and performances going on in the plaza and El Convento etc.

Plus, I just love any excuse to go to Old San Juan.

Be warned that most of the city of new and Old San Juan are closed for the day. We were there on January and all we could find open was Walgreens, Subway, McDonald's, the Sheraton casino and a VERY few shops. It was disappointing.

Three Kings Day here is like Christmas in the States. It's just about the biggest holiday. Lots of things are closed.

Though some things (restaurants, etc) will probably open later in the day (just like in the States).
