The resort runs up the side of a mountain rather than along a beach. As has been said, the views are great. Some don't care for the hike back up the hill after spending a day loafing on the beach.
The restaurant at the top of the hill, Agave Terrace, has incredible down island views. The restaurant at the bottom end of the hill, on the water, Funghi's, has really good west indian dishes.
It's out on the east end so it's close to other resorts that have much nicer beaches.

I'm toping this post because we were looking at the same resort. Figured over a year maybe some more people have stayed there.
Questions I have:
1) Were the bugs a problem being that it was very tropical around the grounds?
2) Is there one buidling that had a better location( views, newly renovated etc) vs others?
I heard Coki beach was the best of the ones they have and that all the beaches are a bit of a walk. Does the resort have a shuttle to the beaches?
