Puerto Rico hotels on sandy, clean beach
 

We are trying to find a place to stay outside of San Juan to the east on the beach. I keep finding reviews that say that the beaches are murky, rocky, etc. Any ideas??

Please define "outside of San Juan to the east".

Somewhere around Luquillo Beach.

Other than the food shacks, not a fan of that area. Why not try Vieques?

We stayed in a condo in Luquillo several years ago and loved it. We were not on the main Luquillo Beach but around the bend from it so we had our beach all to ourselves. You definitely need a car if you stay in that area.
