Puerto Rico for 10 days
My wife and I (ages 54 and 60) have booked a winter escape to Puerto Rico. We love AirBnb type accommodations and have opted for the last 6 nights in Quebradillas....we love exploring off the beaten track spots, hiking, beach combing, good inexpensive restaurants, etc. I figured the 1st few nights in San Juan - any interesting neighborhoods in the city? any spots on gthe northwest end of the island? other suggestions are welcome - although Vieques seems interesting, I decided to stay on the main island (w/ car of course)....thanks!

Local here - off the beaten path I would recommend :
1.) Marylee's by the sea in Guanica 2.) I would also take a day trip to Culebra (last minute flights on Vieques Air Link are about $40 from Ceiba Airport). In Culebra take a "taxi" to Flamenco beach - top 10 in the world. 3.) In San Juan - off the beaten path - Santurce Hope you have a great time! |
Can I ask how your trip to PR worked out? Quick overview of you itinerary? My wife and I (same ages as you) are planning a trip thee in March 2020
