Public Beach/Governor's house?
 

When we were in GC two years ago we went to a public beach that I believe was across the street from the governors house on 7 mile beach. There's a playground there, a beach bar, bathrooms/changing rooms. Just wondering where this beach is in relation to Discovery Point Club. Is it south of there? Within walking distance?

The Governor's House is ON the beach. The public beach is very close; heading north. ..........The Governor's house area is my favorite part of 7MB.
As for Discovery;; it's furter north of both.

Thanks for the reply EJC. When looking at the map that you referred me to which resort/condo is the public beach nearest to? We're wondering if there are any beach bars anywhere near the Discovery Point area.

We stayed at Discovery Point,last May.It is really close to Cemetary Reef (walking distance on the beach).As for beach bars...I do not recall any nearby.

We went to Coconut Joe's which is across from 7 mile beach..it's not that far of a drive.

We really enjoyed DPC...my kids loved their pool and we liked the Jaquzzi.
