Will be in Puerto Rico in mid January. Does anyone know of any promotion codes for the Horned Dorset which would give us better rates than the rack rates available on line? Have tried the various booking sites (Expedia, Travelocity, etc.) and their rates are the same as those available at the Horned Dorset site.

If you find such a thing, please share. You are referring to what is probably the finest place to stay in the whole of PR. Deals are likely few, & far betwenn.

I would call them directly and see if they will give you some kind of deal. Mid-January is typically a slower time of the high season and since it is not too far away, they may be anxious at this point to fill rooms. Their rack rates are very high for Puerto Rico. With this economy, it seems like there should be some discount. Even resorts such as the Four Seasons which claims not to discount are giving "4th night free" deals.

You could check if there are any auctions on luxurylink. That's what we used for our stay earlier this year.
