Thanks so much for all your input. I have checked out Temenos and Covecastles and we would have to rent 2 villas besides the fact that they are hugely expensive as is Rio Chico. Unfortunately for me, my birthday is in Presidents week ( high season ) and my husband and I are paying for the whole trip. I don't really want to rent 2 villas b/c neither one would be big enough to accomodate 14 for meals and the pool and living areas might get crowded. I'll check out those St. Lucia villas. I don't remember seeing them on the villa rental sites I've been checking out.

I just checked out the St. Lucia villas. Serendipity ( 4 br ) and Brigand Hill ( 5 br ) are too small. Capri has mostly double beds in the rooms which is not acceptable! I can't access the Windjammer website right now but other sites still refer to smaller villas. Besides, I still want a non-hotel based private villa. I know the resort villas have more amenities etc but I like the privacy.

Our group consists of 7 adult couples so I am looking for a 7 bedroom villa with king or queen beds and ensuite bathrooms. Because 14 people is a lot to move around, I want one on the beach with a pool. I have checked out many websites ( including that one ) and found some nice ones which is why I posted the original question. Has anyone ever stayed at Amanoka or any Discovery Bay villa?
