Does anyone have a good rec. of a private charter boat to get from St. Maarten to AXA. Do you think they will meet me at the airport & bring me to the charter or we take a taxi to wherever the boat is leaving from...Anyone know how long a trip it is via boat? We usually fly but have had SO Many issues w/ San Juan that Im thinking another route would be best....

We have used Shauna VI (that & the Link have scheduled runs from the airport). The trip is about 25 minutes. There are also private charters (Gotcha & Funtime seem to tbe the most popular).

There's a public ferry that leaves from Marigot every 45 minutes in daylight hours (no reservations required).

Gotcha is a great private charter from SXM to Anguilla. Email [email protected] to make a reservation. One of the boat drivers will meet you in the airport after you collect your luggage and transfer you to the dock. They will help you with your luggage. The boat ride is about a half hour to Blowing Point. Then you go through immigrations and customs and take a taxi to your hotel or villa.

How much is Gotcha? Was looking for
two people. Do they have certain times that they will only leave like Shauna?

Gotcha is a private charter and leaves whenever you are ready. I think the rate is about $390 for up to four people, but you should contact them to confirm. Rates change and I'm not sure I'm current.
