poop deck nassau
 

has anyone eaten at the poop deck in nassau? i think it's near cable beach. we are at the sheraton for one night on the way to out island. if you know of a closer better place to eat i'd love to hear about it. wanted to eat outdoors but going in end of oct so it will be dark by the time we go to dinner...

Hi...I ate at the Poop Deck - years ago. I LOVED IT! I have no idea if they moved, but this is where it was when I was last there....from Paradise Island - walk over the bridge and go left - it will be a ways down on the right. From what I remember, Cable Beach was to the right over the bridge a ways down......

There are 2. One is closer to Cable Beach, the other is at the end of the Paradise Island bridge over a marina. Te marina one is more causual and where I've eaten. I like them as just a handful of restaurants that I like around Nassau/Paradise. (the other restaurants I like are the one at Compass Point-lunch before airport?- anthonys bar anld grill close to Atlantis, and Greycliff-expensive).

Other than that, I find the restaurants to be lacking. Bobby Flays at Atlantis is good too, but you can eat that in the States.

Please tell us what you think of San Salvador, it's a stunning beach! Pctures would be great!

thanks bella & blamona - the poop deck it is then. getting excited & prepared. can't wait to have san sal almost all to ourselves 8-)
i will do a trip report on return - will have to go find a new cord to connect camera to puter.
going for 16 days and plan to eat at club med once or twice - blamona how's the food?

The food at that Club Med is amazing. I'm not usually a buffet kind of girl, but oh, that food food is yummy. You may find yourself eating more than twice there.
