Hi, I just happened to check this post again and was pleasantly surprised to see it is active again!

After lots of investigation and research we have decided on Costa Rica! We aren't going until Christmas so our sons can come along (college, sports, etc) but feel I have made the right decision. I WILL go to Tortola and the BVI, just not this year.

I chose CR because although I love the Caribbean, I really want to experience ziplining above a rainforest canopy, hiking around an active volcano, soaking in natural hot springs and white water rafting on the Pacuare River while I am still young enough to be this adventurous. Plus, monkeys and sloths!! So, Costa Rica it is! I will post my experiences in Jan, 2006!
