Please help!! Opinions on TNT charters needed ASAP!

I am leaving Boston for Playa and the only charter offered on the date I need is on TNT. Does TNT suck?? Will I have horrible flight cancellations/delays/other bad experiences?? The only other charter company that leaves from Boston, GWV, is already booked!! Please help!!

It's the luck of the draw. But keep in mind that charters do not have 'back up' planes so if there is a problem there are no planes to substitute as opposed to schedule air which has a fleet of planes at their disposal.

We've used TNT in the past for charters and had no probem. On all flights we were actually mixed in with GWV customers, so I don't think it should be a problem.

Why are you now on another board... if your not sure about the TNT trip to Playa...cancel and go to Revere Beach....but stop whining on all the boards.. TNT BTW has had a terrible winter reputation...if you remember the local news programs about planes being cancelled, late, etc. and many travel agents say they don't want to deal with them.. As a matter of fact several travel agents went to Logan to see what the problem was themselves...

Having just spent 10 hours on the phone with stranded-at=their-departure-airport guests who thought they were arriving in Jamaica at noon, only to get there at midnight, we will continue to warn guests about the pitfalls of charters/sunburst,tnt,gwv==whatever the name. It's a crap shoot. Some people have no problems, others legion. Whenever we hear the word 'charter', we always add 8-10 hours on to arrival times. Saving $100-$200 is NOT worth the aggro.

Have to agree with Larry.. have used exclusively GWV from Boston and only on occasion has their been a problem in the dead of winter where a toilet froze overnight on a charter plane..Just recently left the D.R. in a torrential rain storm, but weather conditions were so horrific up and down the coast mthat we landed five hours later...and there wasn't a grouchy or unhappy passenger on the plane. On the other hand TNT did have and has had major problems with passengers literally rioting at Logan Airport..There isn't a winter that they haven't made the headlines and tv shows with unhappy passengers loosing vacation time.. After 20 plus years of traveling charter, mainly GWV..I think I know what I am taLKING about (no, I don't work for the company)..
