PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE
I need to pick a vacation spot for the first two weeks of March. I want a tropical place that will be as hot and sunny as possible, but I don't want to go to Mexico. I kind of narrowed it down to Maui or the carribean (thinking of Grand Cayman). As I like it real hot, I am a little worried about both Maui and the Caymans in MArch because it looks like the temps may only be about 80. And, 80 with any kind of strong breeze will not be hot enough for me. Does anyone have an opinion as to which place is likely to be hotter and have less rain? I am also open to other suggestions. THANKS.

You want hot? Go to Panama.
|
I second Panama. That's the hottest place you can imagine in March. Much warmer than anywhere in the Caribbean or Hawaii.

Cayman is likely to be hotter than Maui-- and the water temps will definitely be warmer in Cayman.

Costa Rica hot hot hot

I am also a big fan of HOT weather. The weather, when i have gone to GC (Feb-Mar), was great. 85-88 every day;;w/ sunshine, blue skies and no wind.If you are traveling from the eastern US; it's a no-brainer to choose GC, simply b/c it's only 3 to 4 hours away.In comparison, you lose at least 3 days sitting on a plane or in an airport going to Maui.
If you go to GC, make sure to stay on or near 7 Mile Beach. 7MB is FANTASTIC. |
Definitely Costa Rica for hot and steamy !!
