Please help

My wife, two year old son, and myself are trying to find a resort/condo that is allinclusive or has a kitchen where we can cook for our baby in western caribbean. If we go kitchen route have to have access to american style grocery store. We prefer only top end resorts if possible and priorities are beach front and food. Night life etc. not considered. Considered Beaches resorts on Jamaica but read too any bad reviews. Ritz Jamaica had a bad beach review Is Cayman cleaner and nicer?

I have heard great things about the Club Med resort in Punta Cana, DR. If you go to tripadvisor.com and wheretostay.com, you will find more comments. I don't think I read one bad thing.....especially for a vacation with at 2 year old. We actually may be going that route. Also go to www.clubmed for room and resort info. Good luck!

I do not have any first hand knowledge about the condos on Grand Cayman, for our stay was at the Westin. but I can tell you that you can eat off the pavement there for it is so clean. We loved the Caymans, and we plan to take out 2 little boys there in a couple years.

Wide, wide selection of beachfront condos in Cayman, plus "american style" grocery stores with wide selections (more expensive than US, but certainly lots of selection).

With a two year old, I would only consider going on vacation somewhere with kitchen facilities (ie a condo)

Also for a warm weather destination, again with a 2 year old, I would only consider somewhere beachfront, the beach is the easiest thing in the world to keep a two year old entertained :)

Concur with checking Wheretostay and Tripadvisor, I prefer visitors to my particular Cayman resort to check other guest reviews first, so have links to both of those sites on my home page.

We are going to the Caymans in Feb. and that's one of the reasons I picked that island. They have some good restaurants, nice accomodations and beautiful beaches with crystal clear water.

If you're looking for high end condo, try Plantana. Right on the beach and this beach area is beautiful.Grocery stores are equivalent to US, just more expensive. Foster's grocery is nearby.
