Villas

I am looking for some help for a trip I am planning for next year. I have three families interested in renting a full staff villa. The trip is in Feb. and we would like to be in the Carribean. We would like to have a pool and be beachfront. I was alittle concerned about security, I have read some issues with that. I appreciate some input. Thank you!!

There are literally 1,000's of rental villas throughout the Caribbean - you'll find them on almost every isand. They come in all sizes, shapes and price ranges. Islands known for having lots of rental villas include Providenciales (Turks & Caicos), St. Thomas, St. John (very few actual beachfront properties), Tortola, St. Martin, St. Barts, Anguilla (again not too many beachfront), and St. Kitts, to name a few.

You should first pick an island you and your group would like to visit. Then do a google search for "Rental Villas NAME OF ISLAND" and you'll find plenty of links.

provo definetly has some outstanding villas that are bf & have pools. most will not come with staff other than maid to clean up - could be daily or weekly.
two other islands that offer lots of fully staffed bf villas with pools would be barbados & jamaica.
of these 3 provo & barbados would have the fewest safety issues.
another option w/staff,pool, bf villlas is the maya riviera coast of mex (south of cancun to tulum). less expensive than most islands. look at locogringo.com
in feb provo is too cool for me (some disagree - but i like the water to be at least 80)
if barbados is not a difficult flight for you all, it would seem an excellent choice. good sized island with lots of dining & to do/see options.
as roams said there are villas on every island. if you tell us more about how you want to spend your time (golf, dining, casino, snorkel/dive, etc...) it will help us help you narrow down the choices. some idea of what you want to spend it helpful too.

What about Antigua & Barbuda? Antigua is a beautiful island with amazing beaches, quiet, safe and there are lovely villas for your vacation. You can visit our website www.antiguaholidayvillas.com

Many thanks,

I agree with virginia that Provo might be too cool in February. We were there in November once and found it too cool.

There are many villas throughout the Caribbean. The problem is meeting all of your criteria -- beachfront, pool, fully staffed. St. Barts is full of nice villas but they are mainly in the hills (it's a hilly island). I think Barbados is a great choice. I was looking a few years ago for something similar to you and found a few places in Barbados. Our group ended up doing something different and we didn't go to Barbados but I was impressed with the choices.

My other thought is Moon Dance Villas in Negril, Jamaica. Take a look:
