My husband and I are considering BVI in June. Looking for soft beaches, warm beautiful water and great snorkeling. Any feedback on the Peter Island Resort?

Jimmie is correct. But being an avid snorkeler I must admit that it is only fair but the Caneel area is the only area in the V.I.'s left with good but no longer great snorkeling.

I agree with Stancase on this one.

I'd suggest Caneel Bay, where you get SEVEN tree-shaded white sand beaches on the property, all with wade-in snorkeling. Caneel is in the National Park, so you see no development, just sea, sky, islands.
