Peter Island OR Parrot Cay for Honeymoon?
I can't decide between Peter Island or Parrot Cay for our Honeymoon....any ideas out there?

Thanks!

PS-how would you compare the above to Cap Juluca also.....

Also look into staying at the Meridien Club in Turks and Caicos, gorgeous beach.

Correction: The Meridian Club

Janie: It all depends on what you want. If you really want to do nothing then both would be fine. My personal choice would be Peter Island because of its proximity to all the other beautiful islands in the BVI that you could easily visit on a day trip. Parrot Cay is alot more isolated. Peter Island offers beautiful beaches and beautiful scenery, while Parrot Cay offers a beautiful beach.

St John, USVI. Rent a villa or for a
resort. Caneel Bay.

Villa was our preference.

Both are the only game in town when it comes to dining on the island. Peter Island is lush and has lots of hiking trails while Parrot Cay sits at the highest point in the Caicos which is barren and arid. You definitely want beachfront whichever you choose. More spa services available at Parrot Cay but menu has definite Thai flare to it with fusion cuisine. Wine list priced out of sight. Reports from there all speak of the noseeems and bugs being a problem. Barb is correct with the recommendation of Meridian Club with all 12 rooms on the gorgeous beach. www.meridianclub.com
and given the choice between meridian and peter island, I'd have to toss a coin but the new jacuzzis and upgrades in the baths in the beachfront at peter island might be a plus!
Comparing to CJ is hard since it is a notch above most. More and better dining choices on Anguilla than either BVI's or TCI's. More and better sailing and snorkling in the BVI's but all have dead drop beautiful beaches. CJ you have choices of several levels of rates from a superior room to a pool villa that gives you some pricing flexibility.
