Annabel:

That's a pretty great deal. My friend is going there for her honeymoon in August; I wonder if she could cancel her trip and rebook? I looked on their website and didn't see any indication of reduced prices.

Do you think you could forward me the e-mail from PI? My e-mail address is [email protected].

Thanks!

Would you please send me the email? Right now my fiance and I are booked at Peter Island for 5 nights in October for our honeymoon. I booked through a travel agent and was told that I could cancel with full refund as long as it's at least 30 days advance notice. My email address is [email protected]. Thanks very much!

I'm wondering if Annabel has stayed at Peter Island ?

Maybe this is an offer targeted to return guests ?

Maybe worth a phone call to PI to find out ;-)

No I have never been to PI.

your travel agent should know about this, I am a TA and I got this today...just passed it along since I know it is Honeymoon season! There is not a website to visit, just an e-mail from a travel company.

It says to visit peterisland.com for more info or call their (PI) number, so it is for real. They say limited basis and cannot be combined with any other offer. So since I received this, your travel agent should have this information. It may reduce their commission however....but too bad.

If you cannot get any info from your agent, call PI's 800#

The rates appear reduced to be. Check out the "specials" section on their website.

I spoke with my travel agent and she said that the special (for the beachfront suite) is $672 plus a $100 spa credit. We are now going to get that rate. I just checked the website and it's now up on the specials page. Not really 50% off, but still a good deal! Thanks so much for the heads up Annabel, you just saved us quite a bit of money!

It's the most money we've ever spent for a vacation, but it's our honeymoon, so we thought we should splurge!

lauren, by all accounts it is money well-spent. I've snorkeled at Peter Island but never stayed there. It is supposed to be as romantic and exclusive as it gets. Congrats on your impending marriage. What a wonderful way to kick off your life together!

Lauren - I got that email and it is a bit misleading because its not really 50% off.

However, you will have a time! PI is the PERFECT place for a honeymoon, lots of privacy and almost deserted beaches, etc. very romantic place. and now there is a spa so treat yourself! Have a great time and congrats!
