Pavilions and Pools in St. Thomas

Has anyone stayed at the Pavilions and Pools Resort in St. Thomas? Your comments would be appreciated. Thankyou.

I haven't stayed there but I read a review about it saying that the pools were connected and only seperated by a fence so you could easily hear everything going on in the next patio.

I had also inquired about them to someone I know who used to live in St. Thomas and he said they were very close to the road and run down a little. I decided to look elsewhere... though the thought of the private patio and pool was VERY tempting!

We stayed at this hotel last spring. It is true that you have your own pool and patio area. The pools are small but they are cute and big enough to float around in. You can't see the neighboring pool but you can hear them. We really like this place because the rooms were large and had kitchens. they had a nifty outdoor shower setup and a huge bathroom. This hotel is not on the beach but does have privleges at Sapphire which is about a five minute walk. The only reason I would not return is because overall I didn't care for St. thomas.
Patty

Our friends stayed at Pavilions & Pools in 1998. We were in St. Thomas at the same time and we stayed at Point Pleasant Resort. I would highly recommend Point Pleasant, but not Pavilions & Pools. Their room seemed very nice but the pool left MUCH to be desired! Private or not there was no view of anything and there was not much atmosphere either. There was no furniture by the pool except for 2 plastic chairs and there were no plantings or foliage to around the pool to speak of either.

Check out Pointe Pleasant Resort. It's in the same price range.

Thank you so much for all of your replys. This helps a great deal. I think we will pass on this resort and look for something else. Many thanks again.
