Patouche II not available - what to do?!

Yikes...we are going to Tortola and were going to do a trip with Patouche II based on everyone's rave reviews on this board but they have their boat out of the water for two weeks for their annual maitenance. We asked them for recommendations and they gave us the name for White Squall. Good? Any others? We'd like a day of sailing and snorkeling...

I heard good things about the Dual Bliss. (We loved the Patouche as well) Why don't you go to traveltalkonline.com and do a searcg there? They have a BVI board which is fantastic.

I sailed on White Squall II about two weeks ago and it was fun. Did the trip over to the Baths and Cooper Island. Had a good time. They also do a trip to Norman/Peter/The Indians, I think they alternate the days for each one. Also, depending on how many are in your party, you might want to just rent a boat direct with a captain for the day. You'll find plenty of flyers when you arrive, but I used Freedom Charters and went with Captain Carl for the day. Went to Norman/Peter/Indians for $325 for the boat. You have to stop at the Willie T is you go to Peter. Anyway, have a good trip.

Hi Molly -

I'd be bummed too...Joe & Julie are great!

Kuralu (Robin) gets great reviews as well.

A lot depends on where you want to go and what days you have open for the trip.

There was a recent thread on TTOL that had all of the Day Sail charters, there #s/web sites, the days they sail and where they sail to.

This will help you get a handle on the options and maybe plan around your first choice BEFORE you get there.

If you can't find it, e-mail me. I saved it and I'll send you a copy.

Dave

Second Dual Bliss. Usually have the boat to yourself.
