Passport for Bermuda

I will be leaving for Bermuda 8/16, I have my birth certificate with the raised seal. I have traveled other places with just my birth cert. do you think I will have a problem in Bermuda?
Thanks

Where is your home of origin?

A picture id (such as license) and birth certificate may be ok but check first with officials to make sure. I haven't travelled to Bermuda since 9/11, however, I find having a passport is much less hassle when entering any country.

We are leaving for Bermuda tomorrow, and were informed that, since 9/11, all U.S. visitors are required to present a valud passport for entrance into Bermuda.

When you apply for a passport, remember to get the speed service. I paid the regular service, it took 3 times as long as they told me.

I just called the British Embassy in DC, The Dept. of Bermuda Tourism, & my hotel all said a original birth cert. & photo drivers license in fine.
Thanks everyone for all your help.

A passport for Bermuda is NOT required. It's only recommended. A driver's license and original OR certified copy of your birth certificate with raised seal will also do. This info is per the U.S. Department of State. September 11 hasn't changed the requirements for citizenship.
