Paradise Island to Exuma

My friend and I will be staying at the Atlantis in May. This is our first time to the Bahamas and the main thing we were excited about doing was the 007 Thunderball excursion to swim with the pigs and snorkel in the caves by Exuma water sports.

Sadly we just found out that they do not pick up people from Atlantis, or anywhere near it. There is a powerboat excursion that will pick up from Atlantis and take to Exuma but not to the pigs or snorkeling in caves that I can find. Does anyone know of any?

Are the beaches and water in Exuma that much more beautiful than Paradise Island that its worth an excursion not really doing what we wanted to do just to see Exuma?

Does anyone have any tips for things we should not miss while we are in Bahamas? Any great excursions? So far the excursions I have seen in Nassau don't look to be as exciting as what we saw in the Exuma 007 thunder ball excursion.

Thank you in advance for any tips!

Can't happen. Have to fly from Nassau to Staniel Cay, then take a boat, or fly from Fla to Staniel Cay.

Logistics just aren't there.

You might consider a day excursion to Harbour Island. Gorgeous pink sand beach and charming people on this tiny 3 1/2 mile island. You can walk around or get around by the islands transportation -- golf carts. It is slow paced, beautiful and nothing like the hustle and bustle of Nassau. You may not want to leave. ;-)
