Has anybody stayed at Paradise Beach Resort recently? Is it "run-down" as some people mentioned? Is it quiet -- no partying, no kids running around?

Yes, the one on Virgin Gorda.

The "recently" part, I can't do--we were there three years ago. I haven't seen anything lately on this board about it. If you haven't already, look at traveltalkonline.com--there may be some updated info there. As far as the partying and kids, it strictly depends on how full they are and who is there. It was extrememely quiet while we were there every night except one. Some local islanders had the villa attached to ours for one night, and they appeared to invite all their friends. It was noisy!! The beach was very quiet--only a few people around. You can also kayak to adjoining Savannah Bay--the most beautiful beach on VG. Kathrine
