Palm Island Update
 

Hi all just wondering since the resort has changed hands(now 3 years) have there been upgrades,improvements,hows the mosquitos,food,any excursions,all info good and bad is welcome

also would like to know about tipping policy,,,since it is an AI,,whats expected,,,thanks again

Palm Island is excellent. My husband and I have traveled all over the Caribbean and this is one of the nicest experiences that we have had. Extremely private and remote, wonderful beachfront suites, beautiful beach, excellent food, great management. No mosquitos while we were there in January. We thought it was great and would return.

We did not have any problems with insects. The food is excellent, probably the best I have had in the Caribbean outside of Biras Creek, BVI. An excursion to the Tobago Cays is a great idea and you can also arrange for a sunset sail. All of the rooms are approx. 3 years old, the property is well kept with beautiful flowers and is very scenic.

Lisa thanks and i want to go know and not wait the 6 months,,,thanks again..any idea on cost of the excursions,,,,and tipping on the island yes/no
