Oualie Beach Hotel at Nevis vs Timothy Bch Hotel at St. Kitts

By pictures, Oualie at Nevis looks better, I think. But then getting in/out of Nevis requires an extra plane ride that we'd prefer to do without. Which would you choose and for how long to see these 2 islands, 6 or 7 nights?

Photography/touring/beaches/restaurants are our interests. Thanks for your help.

Hi Laurie,
These 2 properties are very similar.
The plane ride over is definitely an adventure - woo! The times I have been on it have made we wish for a boat
I'd recommend staying on St. Kitts and ferrying over to Nevis.
Both islands have wonderful rests. and are a photographer's dream.
Neither island is known for its beaches, but there are a few that are really lovely.
If fine dining is of major importance, I think Nevis has the better options.
Why not split your time between both?

Never made it to Nevis but loved Timothy's in St. Kitts. Great snorkeling with a nice little beach. We enjoyed exploring and the food on the island and had great diving experiences. Timothy's has lots of wild monkeys there too!

The St. Kitts Marriott Royal Resort plans a soft opening of 200 of its 471
rooms on Feb. 22 with a full opening following in May. Seven holes of the 18-
hole golf course will open next month as well, along with three of eight
restaurants. The 30,000-square-foot Royal Beach Casino also will open in
February with 403 slot machines and 37 gaming tables. Introductory nightly rates
at the resort start at $99 per room, double.
