Old Bahama Bay-- Been Recently?
Has anyone been to Old Bahama Bay since it has reopened? I have also been reading a lot about the horseflies being an incredible nuisance as well as glass on the beach-- can anyone attest to these comments?

That's a load of crap. We were there in February and it's as beautiful as ever. The resort (tourist) area, including the main buildings, marina, condos and beach, showed no damage at all. We spent a couple of hours there, had a couple of drinks at the beach bar and toured the entire area where non-guests are allowed and experienced no such thing. There certainly was no glass on the beach.

I visited Old Bahama Bay in August for 4 nights with my sister-in-law. We had a wonderful time.
There was no glass on the beach that I can recall. There were a few bugs, but they were well taken care of with a little bugspray.
Other than a few short term problems with electricity, during which the hotel supplied alternate lighting!, we had no glitches at all.
