Nude beaches

Besides the French Side (St. Martin)of this island, are there any other Caribbean islands that seem to support the concept of nude sunbathing and swimming?

Not all St. Martin beaches support nudity. Orient is the primary one, although some nudity is tolerated on some parts of a couple of others. There may be a nude beach on Guadalupe, and particular resorts on some other islands, notably Jamaica but also a few others, have nude beaches, but for the most part the Caribbean islands tend to be conservative about such things.

LaSource in Grenada offers a section of the beach devoted to bathing/sun 'au naturel.'<BR><BR>When we went to Cupecoy in St. Martin, it was THERE too, not just at the French side.

A few small beaches in St. Barts have nude swimming. Several of Club Med places have private nude swimming.

You can find a place to go nude on any of the French Islands -- St. Bart's, St. Martin, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Ile de Saintes (which I'm probably spelling wrong) -- as well as the places mentioned in the other posts. The British and U.S. Islands tend to frown on nudity, except where specifically allowed by a hotel (such as at the Hawksbill in Antigua).

I don't know how complete it is, but there is a list at http://gonude.com/welcome.htm. For some odd reason, there is no www in the URL.<BR>
