nude beaches
 

I see that some people don't approve of nude beaches, and that's fine. But we do, and we're headed to St Thomas and St John in March. Are there any spots where its okay (on both islands)?

Yes there is some nude beaches there.<BR>I forget where there are, but like I did, check www.aanr.com (American Association of Nude Recreation)I think they were the ones that helped me.<BR>Good Luck!

Hi Doug,<BR><BR>More importantly than 'some people' not approving....it happens to be against the law in the USVI. Having said that, you can check out Little Magens (mostly gays) at the far end of Magens Bay on STT and if you are feeling like you can avoid the US Park rangers on STJ you can try Salomon Beach.<BR><BR>Schultz

Doug, National Park in St John has recently started clamping down on Salomon Beach and handing out fines for nudists, allegedly because some people abused the spot and indulged in unsuitable behavior. This is unfortunate but, as Schultz said, it IS against the law here. Little Magens is a beautiful spot but the path to get there is remote and there have been some incidents there over the years. You might find a daysail captain who would take you to a remote spot where you can go naked but do be warned that it basically isn't accepted here and, with the new crackdowns - well, you really don't want to go home with a bad feeling after getting a ticket, do you? When in Rome ......

Hi Doug!<BR>Dove off a boat at Saloman's, never touched the sand, but got busted by a park ranger (in a boat) for not having my top on. Magen's is seriously taking a chance!
