Thinking of trying the nude beach thing, not really interested in a wild resort like Hedonism II. Just interested in a nice all inclusive in the Carribean, that offers both clothed and nude beach; where clothed are not permitted on the nude side to gawk. I'm not shy, but...is this a comfortable situation.We are in our mid 20's, have never tried this, but would love to have an all over tan and the experience.
Resort: would like all-inclusive, variety of restaurants, nice island in Carribean, terrific beaches and snorkeling & not too steap of a price. Any suggestions? Thanks

Nudity is a delicate subject in the islands. On French-speaking areas it is common (St Martin, Martinique, Guadelope) altho the French are reported to be snooty, in Spanish areas it is frowned upon (Cancun, etc), and in English areas it is generally not accepted except in limited areas. Altho Jamaica is English heritage, most resorts in Negril have nude beaches (but don't expect it in other areas like Montego Bay). If Hedo isn't your style (I think it's fun) try Grand Lido for an upscale experience, Swept Away for a sports-oriented trip, or Sandals Negril for a romance oriented trip. I have also seen good thing about Point Village in Negril, but have no personal experience there. Most nude beaches discourage gawkers, but don't worry - the average age on the nude beach at Hedo is about 65 (Seriously - I've always said the young girls have spent too much money on their bikinis to take them off Negril will probably give you the most options.

ANY NUDE BEACH RESORTS OUTSIDE OF JAMAICA= INTERESTED IN U.S.V.I., BAHAMAS, BARBADOS, TROPICAL PLACES. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE TERRIFIC. ALSO, I'M INTERESTED IN HEDONISM II, IS IT PARTY CENTRAL. MY HUSBAND AND I LOVE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME, BUT ROMANCE IS ANOTHER TOP PRIORITY WHILE ON HOLIDAYS. Is this true, we have booked a vacation there for later this year...we aren't prudes, like to have fun. But we don't want that kind of fun. Anybody know..is this just one of those rumours>? <BR>Melissa.

Hi there, we stayed at Couples in Jamaica twice and they have a "NUDE ISLAND"!! It's wonderful and you're not imposing on the other guests on the beach (where topless is permitted). All you do to get to the Island is stand out on the pier and within minutes a watersport driver takes you over. The ride is about 1-1/2 minutes!!! You can see the Island from the resort (beautiful). The Island is set up so you can be as private or social as you like. It has facilities for "potty", a swim up pool bar, a grill and a hot tub!! <BR> <BR>The best thing about it is if you try it and don't like it you're not stuck - - you can always stay at the resort.
