November/hurricanes/Jamaica
 

I'm having trouble locating historical data and/or forecast information for hurricane weather for Jamaica in November.

Plan to be in Negril November 6-14 this year. Anyone have some links to sites that can help or long-term first hand knowledge? Been run off OBX twice in my life, but could drive away. :)

And, advice on trip insurance?

We've gone a little later in Nov (Thanksgiving) a few years in a row and never had any bad weather at all.

Hurricanes are pretty much June-Oct there.

Have you tried posting your question on the message board at www.negril.com? I found the people there very helpful when we were planning our May trip. There are many locals & repeat visitors that post there. You can also link to a local webcast & chat.
