I survived the WTC. I was in 2 WTC 69 Floor and lived.

I am very certain that another Bali-like attack will take place. US cities are too well guarded. They'll go to the unguarded places.

This is why I'm out of the picture when it comes to travelling.

I realize that I can get killed just walking across the street. I realize that NY is the bullseye for every terrorist out there.

However, I do my best to minimize risk. This includes driving to work and not taking the subway. ( I have plenty of free parking on the streets near where I work.) This includes staying away from airports, train terminals, etc...

Where do you work in NYC where there's plenty of parking? I would love to know this.

I was going to Jamaica this summer and decided not to because the econonmy here in NYC is rather sluggish. Right now many of us are just glad to be gainfully employed.

I work in Metrotech, downtown Brooklyn. A few blocks away there is plentry of free parking on Sands Street, Nassau Street, Gold Street, etc...Pretty safe too.
