Northern 7 mile beach - rocky or sandy?

I've read several comments about rocky entrances to the water on 7 mile beach. I'm accustomed to beaches where one can just wade in and have a completely sandy bottom. Any there sections of Northern 7 mile beach where this is present? Am looking for a condo in this area. Thanks.

Grand Cayman or Negril? Both have 7 mile beaches.....

Just FYI Negril's is sandy all the way up.

If you are talking about GC, try Aqua Bay Club or Discovery Bay. They are next to each other and both have wonderful beaches. Also if you like to snorkel, they are very close to Cemetery Reef.

If you are talking about 7MB on Grand Cayman, I believe that there are some rocky parts of the beach on the southern end, but the middle and northern end is all soft fine sand.

Sorry for the incomplete question. I was inquiring about Grand Cayman. I heard that Discovery Pt lost some beach and there were rocky areas in the water and water shoes were recommended to enter the water. I'm wondering if this is the case at other Northern areas. Thanks for the responses.
