No rain in June PLEASE

Hello all, I really want this long over due vacation to be perfect. My husband and I want to go for a week to a luxury all inclusive. We first thought of The Royal Playa Del Carmen or Iberostar Grand Paraiso in Playa Del Carmen but it looks like it rains a lot in June. I would love suggestions on another luxury all-inclusive somewhere else in the Caribbean where there is a better chance of less rain.

Our requirements are a Beautiful swimmable beach and great food. Thank you for your help.

The only way to up your chance of no rain is to choose the historically drier months to go. March & April are more expensive for a good reason in the Caribbean...because they (typically) are the driest months. There are websites showing average rainfall in inches by the month for every island destination out there.

No one can guarantee "no rain" for any Caribbean island for any given period of time. Even the most arid island can have periods of extended rain. For example: April is usually a fairly dry month in the Caribbean but unusual weather patterns during the past 3 weeks brought some fairly heavy rains and lots of clouds throughout the norther Leeward Islands, including normally arid islands like Anguilla, Anegada, Barbuda, etc. So, if you relied solely on weather statistics and visited any of the Leeward Islands during the last 3 weeks you'd have been very disappointed because of all the rain and clouds. By contrast those same islands were virtually rain free during the same period in prior years.

June in the Caribbean may get more rain than drier months but it is usually in the form of brief passing showers lasting minutes rather hours and have little effect on one's vacation. All day rains are rare.

Plan your trip around the destination you'd like to visit and don't fret about the weather. Odds are in your favor you'll see more sun than clouds.

Because pretty much everywhere coastal in Mexico and the Caribbean has a good chance of rain in June. Summer IS the rainy season that part of the world.

For sunny & dry weather you need to plan your trip for sometime mid-Nov thru mid-May for the best chance of no rain.

Looks like June in Aruba is one of the driest months for a drier than average island.

Thanks, We are planning the vacation around my husbands June birthday. I looked up rainfall for June and it said 7 inches. That seemed like a lot. Has anyone gone to Rivera Maya in June? What was your experience?

Yes, I was there in June for my niece's wedding and the weather was great. Of course, that doesn't mean it will be great when you go.
