No luck finding car rental
 

I've tried for several days to rent a jeep or golf cart directly through the four or five jeep rental locations on Vieques Island without success. Now I've "discovered" that I can also go through travelocity or priceline for a compact car rental at a much lower price. Can someone tell me about their experience in this regard? I've been under the impression that the jeep rentals ON the island were the only game in town. Thanks!
