Nicest Resort in Bermuda

I am planning a trip to Bermuda this summer. I have been before and stayed at Elbow beach, but I would like some other suggestions. Any opionions on which resort is the nicest? Thanks.

Debbie-as you know Bermuda is a very special island. Unlike some of the caribbean the 5 and 4 star hotels are not as abundant. Elbow is on a fantastic beach and has had another renovation. The other hotels that get hign marks are The Reefs, Ariel Sands, Cambridge Beaches and Pink Beach. Horizon and Waterloo are lovely and both use the private Coral Beach beachfront. so, what are you looking for, its all there, jsut make a choice!

I heard Elbow Beach was really nice. I also heard Sonesta was nice, but I don't know if it's on the same scale. What was it that you liked or didn't like about Elbow Beach? Is staying in the main hotel better or worse than staying in those beachside bungalows?

Elbow Beach was very nice. I can't say there was anything I didn't like about it. When we went, it was for a wedding and all the guests stayed there with a great rate. I actually like the planning of my trips and researching where to stay so I thought that I would do that since I didn't on the last trip. I would certainly stay at Elbow Beach again. Just thought I should look into other options. And yes wondering, we all know that Bermuda is not in the Caribbean; however this seems to be the place to find info on it. Thanks everyone else for your help.

Hi - I only have experience with the Reefs. We stayed there last Fall and loved it. I think it depends on whether you want a really big property or one more personal and small. The Reefs is smaller, has a great beach and a wonderful infinity pool and jacuzzi up on the cliffs. Also - great restaurants. We snorkeled right off the beach. While we were there we went next door to check out the Sonesta and were really happy we chose the Reefs.

Sue-

We lvoe the restaurant at the reefs too. Is is hard to get to the beach. I have only seen the property at night wehn we have gone for dinner so I couldn't tell, but know it is built into the cliffs. We are taking our daughter (2 1/2) and I would like a trip to the beach to be as easy as possible. Thanks.
