Newest resort/hotel in Caribbean??
 
Can anyone tell me of the most recently built or completely refurbished resort/hotel in the Caribbean?<BR>I prefer new over the older properties.<BR>Thank you.

It's not due to open until December but the new and huge Marriott in St. Kitts. 900 rooms when complete. Timothy Beach Resort in St. Kitts just completed a large refurbishing also.

Alamanda Hotel (www.alamandaresort.com) is supposed to open on St. Martin sometime in May, 2002.<BR>

A new superclub, Breezes recently opened on Curacao... it had some bumps, as to be expected when a place newly opens maybe too early, but it is suposed to be really nice now!

A new Intercontinental is opening this year near the Westin Rio Mar in Puerto Rico.
