Newark to Nassau for $500 in November.....
 

The airline gave me this price when I called for early November for 1 week/roundtrip, sounds really high. Shouldn't this price for coach be more like $299? Any help would be appreciated.

I know United Airlines charges just over $400 R/T from Newark EWR to Nassau. You can depart Newark around 8am, connect in Charlotte, and arrive in Nassau a little after noon same day. $500 R/T seems a little steep. Robert

Robert is correct...go to www.usairways.com they have the least expensive so far. There is a connection in Charlotte, the fare is $395.90 p/p round trip.

Air fares are like the stock market---you never know what they are going to do!

Weekends are usually more expensive, just a quick look, and I can see weekdays for $406, weekends for $449 (including taxes). Does your trip include insurance or airport transfers?
The sites such as travelocity, expedia or orbitz for comparitive pricing.

The days of cheap airfares are over, at least for now.

when you consider that round trip from Nassau to Miami has just jumped from $170 r/t to $270 in August then your price isn't that bad considering you are getting into the high season!
